The Battle of Startups at the 2nd Brazilian Graphene Fair is held in partnership between UCS and SebraeX and is a competition between startups from the Serra Gaúcha Region with the aim of generating visibility and recognition of
enterprise projects with diverse and innovative business models, through a dynamic and inspiring event.
This battle will have 16 vacancies: 8 vacancies in the pre-operation category and another 8 vacancies in the traction category.
- A pre-operation startup is considered to be one that already has a defined business model, with first customers being validated and that has a prototype with the basic functionalities of the solution.
- A traction startup is considered to be one that already has a sales structure with a history of growing results and an operational product.

The evaluation panel for the Battle of Startups at the 2nd Brazilian Graphene Fair will be made up of 4 experts from the innovation ecosystem, including investors, mentors, corporates, innovation consultants and/or
entrepreneurs. In addition to the vote of the evaluation panel, the Battle of Startups at the 2nd Brazilian Graphene Fair will have a popular vote. Do not miss this opportunity!
Round 1 of the 8 Selected Pre-Operation Category Startups
- From 2:00 pm to 2:40 pm - The dispute between the Startups in the first round will be drawn, prior to the event, via sweepstakes systems.
Round 2 of the 4 Startups in the Pre-Operation Category Classified
- From 2:40 pm to 3:00 pm - In this stage, the winners of Round 1, will battle each other. Switching order: whoever won the first battle competes with whoever won the second battle and so on.
Round 3 of the 2 Finalist Startups in the Pre-Operation Category
- From 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm - Complete Pitch Model 5 minutes (with presentation), + 5 minutes for questions from the panel. This is the final competition, where the panel will evaluate the winning startup of the Battle of Startups at the 2nd Brazilian Graphene Fair.
- From 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm - Break.

- From 4:40 pm to 5:00 pm - In this stage, the winners of Round 1, will battle each other. Switching order: whoever won the first battle competes with whoever won the second battle and so on.
Round 3 of the 2 Finalist Startups in the Pre-Operation Category
- From 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm - Complete Pitch Model 5 minutes (with presentation), + 5 minutes for questions from the panel. This is the final competition, where the panel will evaluate the winning startup of the Battle of Startups at the 2nd Brazilian Graphene Fair.
Announcement of Winning Startups
- From 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm - The winning Startups in each category will win a vacancy to participate in the state stage of Like a Boss at Gramado Summit 2024 (ticket and vacancy in the state battle).
