Registration

To register, access the SBC Registration System. Follow the instructions below:

Login / Registration - To make a new registration, you must select one of the options: Brazilian or Foreign. The system validates CPF only for Brazilians, there is a routine validation of passports.
Category Selection - There are 5 categories available for registration. Membership categories are only available to participants who correctly enter their membership number and are current with the annuity. The categories can be seen in the table below.

Registration at the symposium confer for each participant a kit containing material from the symposium and allows the presence in lectures, panels, technical sessions, EISI, FESI and workshops (WTDSI and WICSI). The Participation in mini-courses is subject to the payment of an additional amount for each mini-course.

* The Combo was created by SBC to unify membership value into an event. The idea is that together, these two benefits, become cheaper than if they were purchased separately. For more information visit the SBC FAQ.

Membership Registration
SBC members must be up to date with the 2017/2018 annuity to qualify for the reduced price. The verification of the situation of the SBC members is carried out automatically by the registration system.

Article Authors Registration
Articles accepted on the main track will be published in the annals of the event conditioned by the registration of at least one of the authors in the "Effective" category and presence of one of the authors in the oral presentation of the works. If none of the authors appear, the work will be removed from the annals of the event.

Articles accepted in WTDSI are conditioned to the registration of the student in the "Graduate Student" category or in a higher category (in case of also being an author with an article in the main track) and oral presentation of the work by the student. If the student does not attend, the work will be removed from the annals of the event.

The articles accepted in the WICSI are conditioned to the registration of the student in the "Undergraduate Student" category or in the higher category and oral presentation of the work by the student. If the student does not attend, the work will be removed from the annals of the event.

Undergraduate and Graduate Students Registration
Students, including SBC associates, must present updated proof of bond with their educational institution at the symposium alongside a photo ID. Only updated proof of bond with educational institution will be accepted, that is, documents proving that the student is regularly enrolled to an educational institution on the date of the symposium. Documents without date will not be accepted. If the student fails to present the documents, their registration will not be accredited as a student and he will be subject to payment of the difference for Effective (without discount) if he wishes to attend the event.

Student Groups Registration*
For every ten students registered, the eleventh student will be free of charge. The steps for conducting group registrations are as follows: Students must complete the online enrollment form, confirm and pay their application. (The ones who will be exempted of payment must also fill out the registration form but ignore the bank slip - or other chosen payment method). Upon completing a group of ten, twenty or more students, the group coordinator should send an e-mail with the names of the students, specifying who paid along with proof of payment and the one that is entitled to free registration to Ms. Daniela Federle Catuzzo (dfcatuzz@ucs.br) identified with the subject: CARAVANAS.

Elementary and High School Teacher Registration
Teachers who choose this category will need to present a proof of this situation at the accreditation of the event. In case of failure of document presentation the Elementary/High School Teacher category will not be accredited and they will have to pay the difference for Professional registration (without discount) if they wish to attend the event.

Elementary and High School Students Registration
Elementary and High School Students that choose this category will need to present a proof of this situation at the accreditation of the event. In case of failure of document presentation the Elementary/High School Student category will not be accredited and they will have to pay the difference for Professional registration (without discount) if they wish to attend the event.

Additional Minicourse Registration
To enroll in one or more minicourses, the participant must be registered in the symposium.

Cancellation Policy
Until May 30, 2018, a refund of 80% from the registration fee in SBSI 2018 can be made. After this date there will be no refund of any amount paid. This policy applies both to the cancellation of registration and the cancellation of any additional activity. To request cancellation, send an email to contasapagar@sbc.org.br.
